Unusual and very well preserved Art Deco shop front designed by Baker and Burton (architects in 1936 for barber H. SNOW (owner)(ERO D/B 6 Pb3/7170). Limited panelling inside in what appears to be the same wood. Right door for gents. Left door for ladies (upstairs). The shop front is well preserved because it is being well looked after by the present owner. Building probably early C20.
