At demolition it consisted of one and a half bays of a medieval hall house, that is one and a half bays of the open hall. The top of the medieval hall window suvived in a truncated form. Later an inserted floor was put into the open hall with the common joists supported by a moulded beam. Half way across the floored hall a large brick chimney was built with a moulded mantle beam.
